OUTSIDE VOICES
The Outside Voices Mural Project is a new public art initiative that will bring the streets of downtown Pemberton to life with awe-inspiring murals that reflect the heart and soul of the community. Artists' designs will revitalize under-utilized walls and transform the way locals and visitors experience the Pemberton arts and culture scene. Launching in the Spring of 2022, the project will begin with the placement of the first mural at the Pemberton Health Care Centre. New mural sites and artist opportunities will be created annually.

“The past two years have been challenging on health care workers and our community members alike. We are so grateful for all of the support we have been shown by the Pemberton community during the pandemic and beyond,” said Lona Cunningham, Director Coastal, Acute & Chronic Conditions at Vancouver Coastal Health. “We’re delighted that the Pemberton Health Centre will be the home of the first mural from this wonderful initiative. The artistic expression of community spirit and support will be an uplifting reminder for patients and health care workers alike.” LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS |
